Poem
some angel asked me to look into the rainbow and paint what i saw I couldn't do that though All I saw was chatty people with long hair and transparent skin their lean, long legs covered with long bright robes and they had the most blue shade of eyes they talked with their hands touched one another so affectionately it brought tears to my eyes I was tempted to beckon the one standing by the window and ask him to let me in but then I looked at my toes they were burnt, chirped and dusty spent really each crack at my heel bore a character to a story of my yesterday traces of new ones to be borne tomorrow traveled across the belly of my foot and the little of my toes that was my left foot alone the right one was perfect smooth at the heel and soft by the belly and a little to the sides with small rounded toes red painted nails So in my head I could wrap the left one with both my hands to near the right's perfection but it stung scratched and fondled my palms to the the braking point my hands couldn't quite hold their own they didn't let go without a fight and they do not break they are made of steel smooth to touch but sleek on the tongue a little easy on the eyes but harsh to the skin they could pierce a man's heart and leave him at the brink of tears making him want to pull out all his hairs and take off his skin each leak of faith reduced with the tears that circled her eyes she was ready to give in and hang her self right above the cliff falling off was inevitable but going back would not be happening, ever
