Sabali Listen in, The Solomonic thoughts of revolutionary minds strike like lightning in the rain, and prophetic missives pour from my spirit like Yah‘s word hit a vein. and I pray that when I pray for you I’m not praying in vain, repetition, from flagrant superstitions provided by world religions in which man gets the glory and Yah is just an opinion. Where darkness is light, and everything that is wrong is presented as if it’s right and entertainment is propaganda concealed in plain sight. I live in a world where the KKK is NOT a terrorist organization, but Black Lives Matter comes with negative connotations and the Black Panther Party is a topic for negative conversation, where the hottest new trend is cultural appropriation. where my dark skin satisfies the burden of proof, but CNN and Fox will sympathize with Dylan roof where exposing racism is now considered racist and it’s common place for those of another race to dress up and play black face, where my people are the targets of a genocide, in which they can arrest you kill you and tell the whole world you committed suicide. where white people are ever at the ready to believe in black guilt and black people are ever at the ready to leave THIS country WE built!? Where the same government that questions why no black leaders address “black on black crime” is the same government that defames, incarcerates or assassinates... every black leader who addresses “black on black crime” so why should we think it’s going to be any different this time? This passion that runs through me is more epic than the Iliad of Homer’s oddessy. The ink bleeds on the paper as I release pain, I will shed my blood to share my gift and I will not bleed in vain! I am poetry, poetry is I, rhythm is my high, logic I defy! obstacles I demolish, restraints I abolish. I stand as if I'm as tall as my shadow is long! As if I were lyrics, and beat to your most favorite song. I give you my everything you give me your all! life is a trip but I will, Never. Ever. Let you fall. I feel like the last prophet to answer God’s call, asking why should we wait, why should we stay our blades, why should we quell our rage, no we can NEVER turn the page, of history, because this is my story, her story, our story, but those lies you believe that’s his story and he fabricated his own misery to justify what he did to me, what he did to we and no matter what we do you will never ever let us be... free.
