Poem
When you stood on the bridge He along stood firmly by your side. When you almost fell off the edge That courage he never tried to hide. With his artful kind and peaceful mind The Portrait belongs to you uncovered. Standing framed between the gap of time. A great portion his remedy delivered. From meager bushel to unique diversity. While the world jostle, with hard tussle He came welding the spear of courtesy. To banish fears and expel the struggle. Together you walked across the bridge. And past each other quietly on the journey To the place where serenity now engage Taking all splendor into tranquility. Going through past the present, to the future Leaving broken dreams of shared embraces With the fragments of life, you remained true. But some dreams stayed in shattered pieces. Into a room heaven has put away the gloom For all men of this great statue have a flaw, But your beauty, and smile can still be seen. And all shall be renewed like giving a new law. As the rambling air of the numb imagery dies When the force of nature takes its last gasp It will leave nothing for you but vague memories. With his chilled blood the aching heart will rasp Binding the recoiling years that sealed the tear. Of Shadow-souls left on the broken bridge They clung to final rites with all intrepid fear. Still, a desirous wish to see the best of age. Beyond the immortal gate, in a resurrection state Unfinished deeds spread over dispersal realms, Where timeless eternity awakes in slumber fate And unite spirits to mend their broken dreams. From memories to boundaries, we glimpse, The soul putting the pieces back into places. With soft borne ashes blowing cool kisses To their names and never-ending voices.
