Poem
What is the argument in the street that is stirring up the heat? What is the argument in the street that makes people hissing their teeth? The motion to live or die has been riding in the sky, the tail bearers and the naysayers are in the shops, and you have got to face them with all the courage that you have got. All I hear is arguments without substance or proof and logics hanging from a thread in the roof while the choir is running around the town singing a new hymn without a well-defined rhythm, and the early morning birds washing their face with a litmus test to find out if you are brave. What is the argument in the street that has swept you off your feet? what is the argument in the street that makes you surrender your selfish-will and become so still? See them gathering in groups, gossiping about your shoes they talked about you every day until the heavens fades away; your bones are not broken, and your mind is focused on your daily tasks and the galaxy will fill up your glass. The stars are in abundance in the universe and the earth is trembling in the inner core and the galaxy is asking for more. If you dig deeper in the ocean, you will find a special ship with its broken anchor and the bones of the hidden passenger that was never discovered. It's there waiting for you come and change its shoe, What is the argument in the street when your back is against the wall; love is all that you have to win the game sometimes it will drive you insane; there is no barrier between love, sometimes it pours from the heaven like a dove and you have to open your mouth to catch the gravy that is left from that fabulous stew, and you stand behind the shadows and watch the proceeding as it follows and hope that one you will be cleared to continue the journey. What is the argument in the street that is disrupting my heartbeat, there is passion burning in the sun and I want you to meet with me before the day is done; love is blind when you don’t have dime and you have to work all night for the grand prize. I know how you feel when no one is accepting the deal, there is hope in the sky and you have to hold on firm lest you die. What is the argument in the street when the journey is complete? What is the argument in the street when your evidence is so weak? All the chairs are empty, and nobody wants to tarry, the whispers are gone, the choir is dead, and sun has dried out the lawn. Where is everybody, all the seats are empty, my accuser's argument is dead, and they have gone to bury it in the cemetery. There is no more argument left and I don’t have to fret. I am going to marry him, and everybody will catch on to the new Rythm.
