Poem
The players enter the arena to battle out their mind But we already know that only one will survive Four friends fight over rumors that spread Let us the audience see how their relationship will end 1. The Goddess The leader of the friends and the leader of the school Everyone in this room is a victim of her rule However, her friendly sugar coated exterior Is just to keep her insecurities trapped in her barrier She isn’t the one who started it But she was the one to spread it Like a torch to dry grass Like a shattering piece of glass But she acts like she’s innocent Even though her hands are equivalent To the one who’s are stained with red 2. One Of The Zombies The mindless drones that float in the halls The rumors they say ring through the walls She heard it from him, and him from her Half of them didn’t even know who they were They stare at their screens and absorb information They might not seem like much but they’re the foundation Of the judgmental stares from across the darkness The eyes from the shadows glare with their sharpness But they aren’t the ones who started the lie But they hear such things and decide to comply They are the only ones who truly impact 3. The Puppeteer Now this is the one who started it all! This is the one who finished the brawl! They dominate the school with a ghostly control They are the liar! They are the mole! We are the mirror and they are the reflection Please stop this hatred-fueled infection! The sparks of their lie’s enlightenment Feeds the wildfire our social environment! They make The Goddess spread the fever! They turn the zombies into believers! How could someone hurt someone like that? 4. The Fool This one is the victim of the deceit Their body, their soul just feels incomplete They were pushed down and made into the laughing stock They were depressed from being exiled from the flock But now they stand before their friends Slightly saddened from their hurtful trends They’ve been burned, shattered, and avoided altogether They used to be soft silk, now they’re tough leather Now I stand here before you, I am The Fool All of my friends used me as a tool I survived the rumors
