The Edges of Rhyme I wrote the playbook, watching what they took While the earth shook I could not look In the direction of the Big Book Like a fish caught on a nasty hook Ruminating , contemplating, configurating, instigating my own insinuating perspective while your betraying the detective , let’s get reflective It’s all defective until you rectify it There’s no incentive unless you sanctify it You want to try it , don’t deny it I can tell you that you want to buy it But I’m not selling , simply just telling it Gonna end up yelling it from a multi story building while they’re filming Constantly killing. Poetry spilling from my rhyme, while I’m just killing time Syncopating rhythm with rhyme While Charlie Chaplins starting his mime While I refine and I redefine the sign Then imitate my own version of time But I’ll decline to make a comment While I cement my intent to relent and invent The next unconventional perspective Its a consensual percentage Of a singular collective straight from my own directive , this dam eclectic collective Prestige , intrigued by the reprieve in the recollection of my expression of the Experience of rhyme So while I redifine your comprehension Put me back on home detention My inventions draw attention Defy traditional convention , Im running late for the ascension I’m simply breaking down the tension From opinionated condescension And dated out of touch retention While you collect my true confession I’ll book you for another session Conatin my last past life regression While you expand upon your concession If the lesson is worth learning Then I guarantee you I’ll be working On converting the equation I’ll be confined in the space station Watching the contagious integration of the humans From the inflations and collusions As the intrusions of the capatalist delusion Keeps protruding from the fusion of a human with integrity and humility I’ll tap this rhyme for free If only you could truly see That what you are and what you want to be Doesn’t always have to align perfectly But it’s this symphony of antiquity That just keeps calling me back to dream A mouth that just wants to scream Things aren’t always what they seem So I won’t detract from the fact that my minds 100 percent in unbreaksbke tact And I won’t retract my ing statements My heads already hit the pavement of lament Content with placements to vent this relentless intent Toward creating the cause, The horsemen come in fours, Let’s try to avoid the next world war As we rediscover what it’s all for Washed up on distant shores But it’s what’s at the core of it all Predict the thought before the fall I’m standing proud and walking tall Answering my soul as it makes the call Nat King Cole Lauren Bacall, Another Brick in the god damn wall, Lucifer before the fall A man just giving it his all I’ll stall for a while as I reinvent the notion of style , Run the gauntlet , walked the miracle mile Found Moses in the River Nile Going to wait around here and rest just for a little while As I take what’s left of my resolve And use it to ing solve hallf of the re-elected whole , Still holding Notions of the old devotions, So don’t confuse it or refuse it or use it For a two bit show on death constant row My melancholy gets me low But if there’s no pain you don’t grow , So go before I throw you overboard , I won’t fall on my sword just to appease you, Won’t stand back or down just to please you Because I can see straight through the fake reviews and blue suede shoes that only fit a few , I’ll take my cue from a view that is looking directly at you So if you want to sue , I’ll litigate you TIL I’m blue in the face, all of this human disgrace got to face the kid holding the can of mace , praying to God for glorious grace , I know my place, back in the human race But only on my own terms and taste So make haste and face the wasted space That brings about your own disgrace And take nothing from the final trace elements of this embellishment Then infiltrate a new state , Don’t play with all that poison and hate Unless you’ve got what it takes To make the right mistakes And hold your own long enough to infiltrate the golden gates Of wisdom at your fingertips start whistling while you get down to Sit Among the facing of the opposite Hold my breathe til I get to the bottom of the ocean My soul enlivens with devotion As I reside in my emotions And try to avoid all this commotion You are the entry point for your own destination The End Copywrite Elizabeth Moroz 2023
