Nonsense==> Time consuming is an interesting concept To me anyway, as I'm terming myself a time stealer The hours just disappear in my company It would be quite wonderful to see that as a positive The majority don't notice the time slip as they enjoyed passing the time with me We just don't live amongst people that have spare time So my tangled, untangling, meandering, amusing, intricate, thought provoking self apologises for existing Now, there's another thing - I don't like people who apologise for themselves I did it yesterday after a great chat with someone at work about someone who steals time but by being boring (I pointed out I was doing exactly the same thing, not imparting useful work information but doing so in an engaging fashion) I gave advice that it's wrong to advise someone to change their personality (it's at the level of boring that unfortunately it's on a list of things that need fixing) Obviously I brought the conversation round to myself and gave the opportunity for feedback, rightly or wrongly I'm still getting a good review (I'm now wondering if thought is going into how to tell me to shut up... I think I raised the comparison between me and Mr Boring so it wasn't a side angle to deliver any 'wrap it up' message. I'd gone in to ask about 1 line on a template and stayed best part of an hour) Was this a poem? Maybe I'll add a poem Poem==> When I arrive and I'm on top of my game I captivate, you'll say you're glad I came But the day disappears, time can't roll back Allocate me time, that's the hack But then you'll think about what I said When you get up, during the day, when you go to bed I took the time when I wasn't there You'll have to be a bit more aware Don't talk to me, that will work well You'll wonder what stories I might tell I'll be clear I have nothing to say You'll want to hear it anyway This is the beginning, not the end You'll find other things to which you should attend And I'll regret the time I take Try to change, be dull and fake Then change back and be me once more Always waiting to be shown the door
