Poem
Deep within the soul a fire glows a candle lit inside each persons soul The source of it is wisdom that God knows Don’t let the fire grow dim and turn to coal The fire grows each time a lesson’s learned Without it you can’t ever find your way Lessons failed will leave you scarred and burned If you don’t seek His wisdom every day Repeating a lesson only makes things worse tis better to stoke the fire burning bright or each trial will feel just like a living curse and your day will darken cold without it’s light Seek to learn the lessons of each day Feed the fire with wisdom given to you Then your soul will finally learn the way And God will help in everything you do Stoke the fire hot and let it burn Don’t resist and try to run away There are lessons daily we all must learn Or we’ll repeat them on another day It can be easy, but it’s really up to you Don’t let the fire die and turn to dust The lessons will be given each day anew Till you can learn the lessons that you must Keep the fire lit to always glow Trim the candle’s wick and let it burn You won’t succeed by everything you know Seek wisdom every day so you will learn
