Poem
You think that I'm stupid, you believe I'm naive, But I see through your actions, and your words, I perceive, I see the disfunction, I wish not to confront, Because if I chose to tell you, it would be too much, Your ego would take over, and your defenses would be up, It would never solve the problem if it's not done out of love, Some call it humoring, but I wait for the right time, I patiently wait until the love is aligned, I do not care to crush you, I wait and I believe, That everything I'm seeing is really what I see, Even when my gut tells me over and over again, That's not the purpose in loving you, my friend, Now, I know it seems sneaky, not to tell you right away, But God says test the spirits, and then guides you with what to say, Sometimes there's no way around it, even when you wait, And then what needs to be said is the hardest thing to say, And it comes out of nowhere, and they never thought you knew, Because you accepted them anyway, even though you saw the truth, And your heart bleeds to reveal because that's how love works, And they see in offense, rather than seeing loves worth, The hardest part is pretending that you don't have the sight, You must pretend to walk blindly, and see with your hearts eyes, Your faith must be stronger than the world's adversity, Your heart must be open and willing to receive, Walking in His way goes against the grain, And sometimes you end up feeling more pain, But nothing on this earth compares to His love, Nothing compares to His sacrifice for all of us, And so then, who are we then not to sacrifice for Him, Even when the truth hurts, or we're scared to face sin, Realizing what we're doing is doing it unto Him, Wipes the tears of disfunction, and erases all sin, It holds to loves purpose, and never loses heart, So you can call me naive, but my God sees me as smart.
