IMAGINE LIVING IN PEACE FOR TODAY World peace, is there really such a thing? Distress, troubles are woven to this world, not only now; but throughout our history. Power, greed in forms of possessions, wealth are the forces moving rulers to invade, seize territories for their own glory, greatness. They take great pleasure in each conquest, shared with selected classes, ranks while many are left on their own to struggle that their hunger gets unnoticed, poverty ignored. World peace, is there really such a thing? Peace is in our troubled mind and heart at this time; however, wars have been raging on in different places of the world. Take Israel’s conflict against neighboring countries continuously going on for years. The wars and conflicts in the Middle East, Africa, Asia ravaging numerous countries. The truth is there is no world peace, it is the reality and no world leader could bring truce, peace throughout the world. The world peace exists in our imagination. Take a moment, a moment of stillness and find your inner calm, the calm in the center of your life, the soothing center to think of love, joy and peace. Imagine, living in peace for today. Living in peace for this moment; not for tomorrow and not for yesterday. For we don’t know what tomorrow will bring and yesterday is gone. You will not find peace in the world for the external world is always in flux. There is peace deep within you, delve in the deepest depth of your being. Stay still; imagine living from your center in peace for the moment, living for today. 3/14/22 Sweet Lady Jane
