Poem
A man who you could call any day of the week and he'll be there in a flash A believer in the heavenly father for his actions show he puts others first before his own Pure love for his family and daughters who've grown to fine women in life Loved his wife dearly and provided everything he could for he's so pure Worked to the bone to provide for his family putting a roof over their head and food to eat Easy to talk to and would give you clothes off his back to help another in need His heart is and always will be pure like the blue skies above He's my second father and in the mirror he's the splitting image of my own father Not afraid to discipline when your acting out but it's all out of love Teach you the error of your ways and guide you to make a better way Wild in the days of his youth but as he grew he matured into a fine man As an uncle, brother, father, cousin he's a man whose heart is pure as gold He was an amazing deacon and did everything he could for the church till his last breath For his love of the father was endless for all the amazing things he did in his life And when you look into his children they're the splitting image of who he is When you look at his wife she's the splitting image of his heart and purity When you look at his family you see the splitting image of his love and dedication For a man whose finally returned home and watching over from above For a uncle who I'm proud who molded a family together through his actions and unyielding care Uncle Sammy Curtis you always stay in our hearts and know you'll never be far from our minds
