Poem
Come stand with me upon the prow, put your head upon my chest, the moon, it shall come up right now and we will soon be to our rest. We catch the last rays of the sun and moon, it shall soon take its place, the light of day leaves at a run, the moon is here, the sun to displace. Softly the Raven does rise and fall, as we watch the moon begin to rise, we are ready to answer Love's own call, the glory of Love's moon does hypnotize. We watch God's silver light, spread on the world, soon we shall be off to bed, your body next to mine is curled, I'll place my sacred rose, beside your head. Love me as no one else can, For tomorrow I may well be gone, I shall forever be your Loving man, I spend my life running before the storm. I am a pirate, my life is the sea you came with me of your own free will and now our Love it shall forever be it is a wonder that no one can kill. I wouldn't give this moment for a thousand tomorrows, standing on the Raven, with you beside me, we've left behind a hundred different sorrows, to be together on Love's own sea. If we look down we shall see a mermaid, her face is shining, she looks up merrily and my poor heart sings out Love's seranade, the mermaid does harmonize with me. You look into my eyes and you are lost for a moment, what you see there, I may never know, all of your Love that has lain there dormant, you shall, this evening, come to show. Your hand finds mine, lips now close tightly, love flows through the temple divine, together in Love, wrongly or rightly, this Love shall survive the test of time. As we stand together, fast the orb of Love reaches full height, we know the feelings are here at last, we know the touch of Love's own might. To our cabin, we now shall go we shall Love by God's own silver light, divine feelings we shall ever know as we do Love through our every night.
