Poetic Collaboration

Esteemed poet Mystic Rose Rose reached out to me to do a poetic collaboration. This was a fun endeavor where we constructively merged our thoughts for two new romantic poems, Evening Magic and Real Love.  I thought they came out with the true spirit of romance!

Enjoying being on Poetic Soup, I found a writer with a style similar to mine, Natasha L Scragg.  We decided to collaborate with a more simplistic approach... continuing quatrains of four stanza groups.  We did this for the five classical elements; Fire (Fire's Place), Water (The Love of Water), Earth (World's Destiny), Air (We can't see the wind, but its effects are in plain view), and Aether (The Fifth Element).  We both felt that it was a nice little accomplishment when finished and were fortunate enough to receive some very nice comments from the PoetrySoup community.

An idea I have now is to run a poem contest for collaborators.  This may have been done before, but why not do it again!  I need to wait until my current contest that I'm sponsoring is completed, but it will be very exciting to see what teams of collaborators can produce, whether it is with other poets or friends!
