looking up. They
hunched on their bellies
.
like hairy doormats
and their eyes turned
like those of animated
bedrom slippers.
.
So high I stood,
all of my 5 foot 3.

Fierce dogs and shy cats
Bright lights

Country Flags
Big Bags
Ticking clocks
Secure locks
old and young toys
clothes for girls and boys
orange carrot
loud parrot
technology galore
you will want even more

Welcome to the Marvelous Store
Now what exactly did you come for?...

the sun flirt with rays of Spring fire,
but not until sheep and lions
give birth to roaring lambs,
will our doormats transition
to round-the-clock muddy welcomes....
