Nonexistent Poems

In a World Where I do not Exist

Sunshine streams, spilling secrets on satin sheets,
a symphony of soft chirps and chattering birds.
The morning unfolds, a vibrant tapestry of hues,
and I, I am nowhere to be seen.

Not a single soul remembers my name,
no echoes of laughter, no whispers of love.
I am a blank canvas, a forgotten tune,
a silent melody in this bustling, bright world.

Yet,

Nonexistent

Wish you were never born
Wish you never came to be
Wish you were never came around
Wish you weren’t my father
All you are is just a ghost
In the backdrop.

You sleep in a coffin
Only to rise from the grave
Looking for a fresh meal
That was slaved over the stove.

You may do minor work
But that ain’t enough

Nonexistent Seasoning

starry winter night
missing her summer conversation
softly wishing in vain
moving on is like jumping off the high dive in a pool of poison ivy

starry summer night
missing her spring conversation

and I am asking, “Where does it go when…?”
I vigorously tap the “enter” key and watch while
it floats into the nebulous world of the WWW,
only

Premium MemberMy Nonexistent Refusal Skills

My refusal skills are pretty much non-existent.
I grew up in a small town where most people say yes.
Others use words like no, absolutely not, not my clowns.
I say okay almost immediately to any request coming my way.
For where I grew up anyone who said no was labelled a trouble maker.
An outcast, a do-badder,
I know it

please tell me ...

what happened?
what dire damage have i wrought?
what did i do to ruin it, that friendship, rare?
you once knew me better than most ...

my darkness didn't frighten you, didn't rattle,
you sighted those demons ... i think they danced with yours, times,
imbibed from the same bleeding cup, cackling ... spitting.
but you were always keener,
