Nieces Poems

Sunflowers

From tiny seeds
you sprouted; Tender
green shoots, so new

and impressionable.
Shoots that I serenaded
and watered with love,

albeit only on occasion.
Then, you had bright petals
blooming from your cheeks.

With every smile and
dash of sunlight,
you stretched and you grew.

You’re not quite complete yet;
there’s much more growth
ahead of you.

Though I’m no longer
by your sides
to see you progress,

I know when

Faces of Nieces

In case of my nieces
To each other
Turning faces
For no reasons
In nothing less
My nieces
Than jealous cases

My Nieces and Nephews

My Nieces and Nephews

This is just a little rhyme,
That will make more sense in time,
A little keepsake from my heart to yours,
To remain with you as your mind matures,
So you will always see, what you mean to me,
So you will always no, my love for you as you grow,
At times you

From Cousins to Nieces and Nephews

When young we have cousins; they’re second to none.
Then along come siblings’ each daughter and son.
A new wondrous time of our life has begun.
With our new family ties, new stories are spun.
We watch them together and having such fun,
and always there’s one who’s a son of a gun,
pulling pranks everywhere

My Two Nieces

Houses were battened
winds-rattled thunder
some homes were flattened
lives pushed asunder.

Pigs really did fly
through debris-filled air
as a tornado went by
left behind it despair.

Services held for those that were lost
try to pick-up the pieces
ascertain the cost.

With only one wall left
what happens to the leases ?
oh, by the way
have you seen my two nieces ?.
