Sex Friends
Engulfed by sex. Everyone so caught
Up in getting it, giving it, taking it.
Just a little piece of the action, they say,
Never a lasting thing. Just a little
Hug on the rug, an ouch on the couch, a
Small role-e-um on the linoleum, anything
They can get. No one kisses hello or
goodbye without feeling some commitment
to perform at a later date. A small smile
on the tile, a little juice on the loose, then
nothing.
Loneliness until the next time
Someone feels and urge to splurge on
Homemade dessert, but no commitments.
