November Snapshots

Cold huddled sparrows
Wear that WTF look
A squirrel drags his tail
Through icy puddles
A rat hunkers down
Behind the barrels
Worms wiggle dance
In November’s no-fly zone
A wet Owl whispers “Phew”
School bus children
Defy the rain drops
A grouchy dog waits
For the mailman
An old woman’s scowl
Frightens the wind

Your vantage point is a look at November from the wrong side of the tracks. Beyond tree lined streets of old money houses. Not one fragrant and white washed where people whisper their gossip. I’d much prefer the barking dog and WTF look of huddled squirrels. Ovation to you, John.
