My Backyard-List
My northern backyard is very private in my hometown of Bellingham, Washington state…well, I’m technically in the county, across the street from the city, but that is another poem…I’m lucky because I can’t see any other buildings or roads yet. In my 1 acre backyard when you are sitting in the porch looking out you will find:
1 small old barn
A field
Tall golden grass
Ferns
One old Dodge pick-up
Mole hills
A rose arbor
Roses
A double wood swing
Day lilies
One small pond
A footbridge
A double lamp post
A grove of bamboo
One hummingbird feeder
A wood carved statue of an eagle
Bird feeders
Two big mossy rocks
Holly bushes
Many huge cedar trees
Pine Trees
Alder trees
Song birds
Owls
Squirrels
Dried cobs of corn
Birdseed
One gas bbq
My 17’ RV
One playhouse porch
One home in the backyard
3rd place
