Love Is Actually Regenerative

Her husband, without warning, said, “I’m leaving.” Her sanity and will to live were tested. She cried out many nights, “God, take my grieving away!” For twenty-five years, she’d invested her all in him. She thought she’d be deceiving herself believing she’d be interested in love again, but soon she would be sharing her life with someone loving, good, and caring. posted July 31, 2017 January 4, 2018, entered in Brian Strand's New Year Premiere Contest

This is actually amazing ... this is the only one I've read so far that uses perfect iambic meter, and perfect rhymes... which is very difficult, especially to get it flow so nice and not sound forced. I'm impressed!

Janice, very clever use of enjambment with your rhyming words when read alone contain most of the idea within your poem. Excellent! : )
