I Get It

I get it! Love one another, trying our best to get along... but, when it comes to pertinent issues, how does one compromise with wrong? Well, no one knows the truth, each having his or her own – hmm...so, burn your bibles, ignore your parents, no seeming facts should be incorruptibly sewn to the fabrics of developing, hungry minds – instead, imprint them with social media of all brainless, circum-me kinds – and a cell phone to replace prayer and God, who most likely, thought he had seen it all, having survived the thoroughly self exploratory era of Mod.

Cell phones can’t take the place of faith and it is up to us parents and grandparents to relate this to our children and grandchildren. My granddaughter who just turned 10 can recite the Lord‘s prayer by memory and now she is learning the 23rd psalm. It is so very important to instill faith and honor into our children. I agree with your values in this wonderful poem Joe. Have a great new week. And a happy St. Patrick’s Day to you. Blessings xxoo

Thank you, Connie; the world needs more grandparents like yourself. I was not brought up on the Bible...but learned through ill followed journeys...and then fantastically discovered, in old age, that what I decided was truth, was already stated in the Bible (maybe I could have saved myself a lot of wasted time)~unfortunately, many people become scholars, teach in universities -- but never learn to really read, especially their own motivations. Honesty is becoming a lost art. Win for your team is all that seems to matter to large swamps of society. Your grandchildren could not have a better example and friend in you. Blessings!!
