I am… Washing a stormy night clean, its promise this empty grave, where sunshine suddenly erases the shadows, who sigh like dejected, broken tears, surfacing in the dewdrops, lifting the darkness of a night, before the blessings, before the trembling silence started to bleed hope through the tangerine sun, rising, fading the sparkling whispers of cloud songs, remembering to linger on the petals, a still rose, breathless and beautiful, reasoning with the mourning, when death, caught up in the risky duties, feelings, black and fragile – like ink, poured out gently, on the empty pages, full of lessons, full of grace, full of the moments before hearts were set ablaze, by the infernos of yesterdays, before memories were the only real thanks, for wonderful moments, heartfelt passions, bleeding into the heart flooding the life with light, soft light… resting on the edges of a life, flowing through the air, like sandcastles, hemorrhaging into the sea’s sprays, swelling the distance, hallucinating – wings, soaring on the air, we breathe promises, His grace, stills the darkest fears, releasing the moments before light seeped through the shadows, caressing the music, feelings, kissing away the past, where hues of black evaporate beneath the songs, washing the earth in melodies, tender like the heart, but, never as tangible, never as pure, sincere, genuine… lasting, nearly weeping, life milks the still, reflections, deep and warm, secreted in the soul, infested with memories, glowing like the glistening gaze stars clinging to the night, nocturnal whispers, blessing the moments with wishes, sweet yearnings, for a time when echoes of light were merely hearts, beating for the everlasting, peace that sighs, sings, silences, every dark thing – serenity who soothes the spirit intimate, naked to the pain, releasing its tears into the depths of a prayer… never forget, always remember, where grace frees, there are none so grateful, as the hearts, burdened by sins, forever yoked by the heaviest loads, evil who has been – the shadow within, but the devil who is known, by his horns, horns who stab the hopes – regrets, stabbing like those horns, depend on the one who can’t believe… even me,… yes, even me – love, poured out by the One who forgives it all, this love can save my soul – even my soul, the soul who can see, beyond the fears, beyond the tears, and beyond all those years, there is mercy, peace, compassion, brought to those who simply believe in Him, the King who won the war with grief, the King who tore the veil between God and me, the King who restored the love that could save me from me… with a heart who agrees to simply believe, there is a balance of hope and faith, a beautiful that seeks to save, a miracle that causes me to praise, forever, the One who has made a way, through the desert of my darkness, through the destruction of my heartbreak, through the decisions that have fought me… with a heart who believes… I am finally free to see – I can finally see, this love that He has poured into me!

What a deep and meaningful take on the prompt dear gina! I loved the depth of your word weaving! And how youv delivered this in such a creative manner. Especially caught my eyes “ and beyond all those years, there is mercy, peace, compassion, brought to those who simply believe in Him, the King who won the war with grief, the King who tore the veil between God and me, the King who restored the love that could save me from me…” so soulfully moving! Brilliant write! Definitely will score high. BOL

Enjoyed your travail through the ups and downs of life, always with a grateful heart for all the blessings poured on your way. Despite all the fears and tears, you find life beautiful and you started pouring your feelings on to the paper and it inspires and instils others to experience the grace and bliss you enjoy. "when death, caught up in the risky duties, feelings, black and fragile – like ink, poured out gently, on the empty pages, full of lessons, full of grace, full of the moments"."I am finally free to see – I can finally see, this love that He has poured into me!" It has set you free. Beautiful poem with a beautiful conclusion.

Dear Regina, Your poem is a soul-stirring journey through emotions, memories, and reflections. You draw the reader into a deeply introspective exploration of life's complexities. I was particularly moved by the way you navigate themes of hope, faith, forgiveness, and redemption. Your words speak with a raw honesty and vulnerability that are both captivating and inspiring. I feel that you for touching hearts, provoking thought, and illuminating the human experience.

the simplicity of being one's self once we accept His love flowing through us is beautifully expressed here. I liked these lines in particular: never forget, always remember, where grace frees, there are none so grateful, as the hearts, burdened by sins, Your poem is forthright and soothing. Well done, Gina. have a splendid day, Sara

Your description of the different means to think about our experiences demonstrates how different perceptions might occur. Your optimism is contagious and could help soothe a lot of troubled brains.
