sea breezes have no interest in political winds staccato cicada chatter pays no heed to chatty gossip wild leeks don't choose the soup of the day if they could, would anyone listen?

But Political winds are full of hot air. I'd rather listen to the cicada. Vince

Jim, This poem does have nice rythum....and a very interesting message. Thinking again here as always. Politics can make one feel helpless sometimes. Unless they're willing to get in there and scrap with the big dogs. We're all free to choose that. But I'd rather feel the ocean breeze and the hum of insects. The poor leek has no hope. If leek could talk, I'll bet she'd say, "Don't put me in any soup...I want babies....flowers and seeds..." LOL I'm getting carried away here...La La La. Dane

Maybe I would. Depending upon their conversation, of course. :)
