D Y S T O P I A

[Perhaps this is apart of my twisted delusions? Oh, mundane, antithetical, to dream of a median--a deranged, psychotic thought.] [“I ponder the chains of order; perpetually asphyxiating a ‘disobedience’. Why, why we need of persecuting the good?”] [Malice subsumes those who yet to temper, and sorrow enshrouds those refined. Crux, crux, I call to, whom ignore my solemn cries.] [“A fate of malevolence albeit conduct--oh, love, abhor, equity seldom be attained.“] [Is it merely viable?] [“Or am I just simply insensate?”] [Ah, break me free of the binding chains-- one of rectitude, the other loathe, as if there’s no point in between.] [“Told of finding peace, tempted to defile, disequilibrium.”] [Why serenity remain beyond touch?] [“Is it plausible to grasp?”] A fate of dystopia.

How creative is your poem that flows with so many deep and soulfully moving metaphors and phrases that really made me pause and feel! I especially love your arrangement of lines and yes sometimes serenity seems so out of reach when we keep searching for it in places, anywhere but within us, i really love "Ah, break me free of the binding chains-- one of rectitude, the other loathe, as if there’s no point in between.]" the longing the angst the emotions, i felt that! Pleasure reading you today! Sending you light always

Serenity does seem beyond reach for many. I think of Gaza, Ukraine etal. Of course, true peace and serenity can be found within in any situation, especially if one has a solid connection to the Creator

Dear Reya, this poem is amazing. It explores order and chaos, purpose in a dystopian world, and morality and life. Delusion, disobedience, malice, and the desire for serenity in upheaval are also explored. You seem to struggle with philosophical thoughts and emotions, concluding that equality is pointless in a world full of evil. I admire your poem's powerful, emotive word choice. A dismal and depressing mood is created by words like "twisted delusions," "asphyxiating," "malice," "persecuting," and "dystopia". Rhetorical questions like “Is it only viable?” and “Is it reasonable to grasp?” stress the speaker's doubt and desperation.
