Beyond Reach
Your soul a halo of golden light
lingering in the canopy of blue hearts
longing for the essence of you
your touch your voice your smell
your swelling smile long as the Nile
the bright energy of your spirit
warms many melancholy nights
soothes the somber of fuchsia fright
that there is no more you
because there is a change of venue
where love transcends
never ends but begins.
