Contest Description
What to Submit?
Please write a poem about a woman called Brenda who has just written a book of fiction, how it has absorbed her, and how she wishes the main male character, a boatman, were real and in HER life. I shall look for alliteration with several b's during the course of the free verse or rhyming poem of 10 - 20 lines.

First - Fifth Prize - Glory
and 4 Honorable Mentions.
The name Brenda must be the whole title or part of the title, and send your poem under the description "alliteration".

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
