Sunday, I take out a bowl.
Monday, a spoon.
Tuesday, open a box of Cheerios,
Pour a few in.
Wednesday, the milk.
Thursday, I spoon some in and chew.
Friday, wash the bowl and the spoon.
Saturday, put the bowl back on the shelf,
The spoon in the drawer.
Sunday, I take out a bowl.
Ground fenced becomes a fall garden
deterring squirrels' and rabbits' play.
Guard the soil that winter will harden
defeating Indiana clay.
Gilded tulips (unsightly bulbs' pardon)
deserve a diadem come May.
Dreams fade not away;
Our active efforts bring us
The crown of glory.
I sit here, staring at the page,
Hands cold, breath shallow, mind in a cage.
The clock ticks louder than my thoughts,
Each second stolen, each answer lost.
But I won’t give up, I won’t give in,
This battle is hard, but I’ll still begin.
I’ve come too far to let fear decide,
I’ll rise, I’ll push, I’ll stand with pride.
They say, “Just focus, you’ll be fine,”
But they don’t hear this war in my mind.
The weight of ‘what ifs’ presses down,
One wrong step, and I might drown.
Yet it's not about just numbers, not just scores,
Not just a race to perfect doors.
I have dreams, and I will fight,
Through every storm, I’ll find my light.
So I place my hand upon my chest,
Feel my heart; I am doing my best.
I trust myself, I will break through,
My dreams are real, and I’ll make them true.
Like a Wind.
Bon Voyage,Love to grasp.
In return happiness I find.
Like a Regal Aura of Current.
From place to place,Slowly and Gently.
Only to Find a Land to Rent.
I hope for Love.
Better days ahead.
Peace so Priceless like a Dove.

The mirror of a life that’s mine
Sits journeyed in the wall.
The face is young, its glance is not,
As old and young recall.
The answer, fading, pauses there
Though burning in the mind,
Young again to feel the world,
Yet aged well like fine wine.
We can just once have been there young,
Where now we cast, as old -
Our image into moistened eye,
Both now and then, to hold.
The most splendorous success was man landing on the moon
The most splendorous success was Christ Jesus surfacing on Earth
Yes: The most splendorous success was the moon meeting man
I am going to draw koi fish on my nails.
Tiny little things, swimming free in a sea of blue
they can’t see the end of.
But I can.
Everything has an end.
You must remember: live life with your eyes set below that dark horizon.
Everything has an end.
Everyone has an end -
a means they’re gunning towards.
Do not set theirs as your own.
I am going to draw koi fish on my nails
(a task rewarding in its effort and focus)
and for a moment,
the sun shining in from the window washes over me,
broken up though it is by my blinds.
Sitting here, doing jackall, is rebellion
against a society that reduces humans to numbers
and their potential for profit.
I am the light of the sun.
I am my love for my friends.
I am my interests
(and you know the best part?
I have many yet to discover, many yet to be at).
I am all that I give and all that I wish and all I surround myself with.
I am the koi fish I draw on my nails.

With success I feel joy,
there is great gratification with succeeding,
I enjoy.
I feel the glee;
fulfilling of promises bleeding,
the key.

Quarter moon strives,
grows half.
Half-moon yearns,
grows whole.
Full moon offers—
New moon envies:
half, whole, full.
Shining brilliantly like fireflies in the dark,
A shooting star in the galaxy's arc.
Prismatic inventions spark the thrill,
Widespread acclaim climbs the highest hill.
Zeal infecting masses aghast,
Bountiful accolades spanning career vast.
Sculpting a history nation can only dream,
Carving a niche with vision, an invincible theme.
Legacy etched in the pages of time,
Inspiring next-gen with humility sublime.
Was that me?
from that introvert freak
timid
confused
always trying to please others
so they will not criticize me
coming out of the shell
was so difficult
but
I managed slowly
by
learning new things every day
counting on small achievements
patting my own back
rewarding herself
taking the remote control
of happiness
in my own hands
gaining confidence bit by bit
no more begging for appreciation
no more copying others
no more fear of rejection
still caring and loving people
Often asking the mirror
was that weak-willed
really me?
Upon the mountaintop where eagles soar,
Above the clouds, where dreams take flight so high,
A world of endless blue and golden lore,
Where sunlit peaks embrace the open sky.
Here, courage blooms in hearts that dare to climb,
Each step a testament to strength and will,
Where stars align to mark the passage time,
And hopes ascend, with destiny to fill.
In this realm of peaks, where shadows fade,
Ambition’s fire ignites the soul’s bright flame,
Through challenges that life may ever laid,
To reach Acme, and conquer every aim.
For in the heights where dreams and visions roam,
Acme awaits, the summit of our home.
Your life is
what you make of it
make everyday count
towards an accomplishment
strive to achieve
what you didn't think you could
