You Are
Help me walk in your footsteps each and every day.
Help me to keep my focus so I won’t stray away.
Help me to keep my mind stayed on thee.
Help me to look up when my knees get to weak.
My eyes get so blurry I just can’t see my way.
I know Lord with your leading on this path I will stay.
So many distractions are coming from all around.
The voices are all so muffled I can’t distinguise the different sounds.
The wind of life are blowing coming from all directions.
I need your strength and guidance so that I can reach perfection.
Slipping and sliding trying not to straddle the fence.
Sometimes I do not understand and nothing makes any sense.
But I’m holding on to you Lord- you are the comfort for my soul.
You are my strong tower and to you can always go.
You are my peace in these troublesome times.
You are my achor, my strength, and my guide.
