I am the light that longs for the dark I am the shallow that yearns for the deep Earth and sky, snow and sand, desert and ocean The opposite that combine to make a whole Gentle and fierce, strong and weak, love and hate War and peace, youth and age, foolish and wise Envy and content, sad and happy, birth and death Twirling together creating the dance of life Men and women a creation of yin and yang Opposites belonging completing the whole A never ending circle in time and space
