Woulds of Pursuit

Much of my energy is directed Toward finding you again in my life, And, it's not recently, I've detected To cling to vagueness is self-imposed strife. Yet I hold on, despite psychics' advice To let go of the things causing the blocks, But Love's no more a thing than thought's a vice, So I mentally kiss the hand that balks. Inexorably, the decision's made, But I can't help feeling a faith in hope; My dreams flow too fast for Fate to evade For long the grasp of my desire's scope, But the woulds of pursuit have grown thick fears, For it has already been many years.
