World War
Guns are firing
bombs in the air
people are dying
it's just not fair.
Tanks and armored weapons
injuries so severe
we will never truly know what happened
during these awful years.
Now the war is over
crosses all around
the fields are calm and peaceful
poppies lay on the ground.
