Wonderful World
I fall repeatedly from one level to another...
I have scared knees as I rise time and time again from the bloody pavement...
The nervous ticks I have developed are now noticed by others...
That familiar impending doom feeling washes over me like a cold shower...
And here I am again... Looking into the darkness with a magnifying glass;
ever searching for that elusive clue...
The fluorescent lights flicker like a headache, and it's noon before I know it...
I kick the pools of water from the freshly fallen rain and I think to myself,
what a wonderful world?
