Winter's Rain Freezes

winter's rain freezes ice coats tall southern pine trees... pow trees snap like twigs
A memory from the winter of 1963/64 I was due with our first child..There was rain then snow then ice..It melted enough just in time for me to get to the hospital..

oh, sara, this exactly what I was writing about in my winter halibun for Debs. This happened at my in-law's place in kentucky, the ice encased trees. Wow what an event to remember with the birth of your baby.

I really like the sound effect you gave us with the word 'pow', its very imaginative and put the thought within my head! I really enjoyed reading this amazing poem this afternoon! What an enlightening piece, a definite wondrous winter description, Great Work!!

We have often such winter rain Sara, wet snow turning to rain and freezing at night. - Everything a glazed ice, the next day! -Then it's best to be indoors. - Nice poem. - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)
