Will You

Now, If I decide Suddenly, today - The meat is overcooked, the soup is stale Will you ? Will you leave your plate of dreams Tuck up your sarong, bare your legs and come and dance with me Cutting your pink, delicious soles, Soft and pretty, pert, petite Tingling soles of dimpling feet On broken, jagged, ragged shells Strewn across the yellow sand with tales as deep as the sea Lest the cat The cat in yellow collar Lick up Your plate of dreams You will not take up the chalice to empty it Nor see the trickle fall on sand parched yellow sand and still run out To the cold and mighty ocean In hopeless gurgling streams
