Why I Write Poetry
So many poems to people, I have sent
Which are always polite and reverent;
To church, encourages them to go
As God's spirit does continues to grow.
Songs will sing giving God praise
And results of each service does amaze
All of those seekers who are around
When they hear song and its great sound.
God we love and never take for granted
Thanks for seeds in us You have planted
That turned into flowers which will bloom
Like smiles on our faces all over the room.
With God, there is only one place to start
Requiring us to have a change of heart;
Remove worldly things and fill with Yours
Which last forever and always endures.
God sent His things which now are mine
Causing much fruit to be on each vine
Which continues and is beyond compare;
Then He said, "Your talents be sure to share."
