Whisper of Wisdom
She sought for the
sunshine of yesterday
to wipe the cascading tears
of today,
alas, all she got was a
shadow of grey
trailing her tears like an
enslaved prey.
The lores of her past
clouded the skies,
all she is left with are
legacies of lies,
fermented fantasy
immersed in iniquity,
no dust and ashes in sight
as indemnity.
Her nude heart drips like
icycles of autumn,
no where to be found like
sparkles of gloom,
the sun she sought for
came back in a trance,
reality resumes with drops
of disturbance.
The whispers of wishes
stormed her soul,
echoes of nothingness
roamed in her world,
yesterday and today met at
the end of never,
no faith to fratenize, she
played the fool!
I peeped into the valley of
dry bones,
and found flesh and blood
crawling;
eyes that would not see
and ears that are
deaf to the whistles of
wisdom and freedom.
