'where the Heart Is Unbroken'

A cold darkness falls deep upon my soul like a faded black cloak, it takes shape I struggle, lost in my quiet anguish I am entrapped within a dark dream-scape in this void, I weep bittersweet tears I waver, between reality and heaven My heart is still, frozen, it lays wide open in quiet darkness, I seek my meaning my existence, but a book on a shelf O, take me to where the heart is unbroken and love is heard in unspoken words I am lost, in the wilderness of life _______________________ December 12, 2012 Poetry/Verse/'Where The Heart Is Unbroken' Copyright Protected, ID 12-442-447-12 All Rights Reserved, 2012, Constance La France

I love this Constance. Deep and beautiful. We are not having snow here right now, but I bet it's snowing all the time where you are. I think you must like it in some ways! It has inspired some gorgeous winter poems in you.

Constance; You have written a beautiful poem here. A broken heart is hard to mend, but it can happen. It just takes time. Smile, JESUS koves you. Lucilla

This is one of my favorites of yours Constance, I really enjoyed reading it this afternoon! Quite the powerful message portrayed within your ingenious verse! I can feel the loneliness being torn within this piece! You have masterfully crafted a beautifully dark poem! Great Work!!

love is a nag, it nags. and we listen to it. how can we be positive with love as the negative defining our human thoughts. what should we do? find something else to love.
