When Sadness Breaks

When sadness breaks, it drives deep into the core, a sharp needle threading around the seams, forcing them to submit to its will. Wonderful poem that is so true! You can't have one without the other, and while I, like anyone else, have experienced a good share of sadness, I feel as though it's strengthened me in the long run. I always try to keep that in mind when times are hard. I love the fourth stanza especially. ~Juliane
