What Would You Do
Has anyone been in this situation before……..
You love someone who you can’t have for certain reasons
The feelings constantly change like the seasons
You never know when enough is enough, if what you have is a bluff
Either way you keep fighting for what you love and stay tough even though at times it gets rough
Some days are better than others
The love changes from a child to a mother to sometime a smother
At this point do you keep trying and hoping things will fall into place
Hoping it won’t be a disgrace and backfire in your face
Or do you give it some space hoping patience will win you the race and make it to home base
You have a lot of history with this person
And you don’t want things to end up bad or worsen
Then again do you wait at the gate patiently hoping, praying, and thinking they will come back?
Maybe take the risk and make an attack hoping your failure doesn’t slip through the cracks
Or is enough enough when you’ve tried all that you could do in your power and this is a sign to leave and unpack
People always say if you love something or someone let it go and if it ever comes back then you’ll know
Yet waiting to see if that someone or something takes a big blow
It’s not a game or show, things should just naturally flow and you eventually learn to grow
People also say if a person is crazy enough to love you after you broke their heart
That person should be number one on the chart, and be your missing part
The question boils down to do you stay, fight for what you believe in, or that miracle to happen, or wait for that wish to come true
Or do you call it quits, forget that something or someone you were so used to, stop feeling so blue and start seeing the world in a different view maybe eyes a birds view and repair yourself with super glue
