What Will You Do

What are you gonna do when the past comes and finds you? You can’t run and hide what lives inside. What will you do when you lose your pride? When all you had seems to of up and died. When your friends you threw aside stopped caring? Or when you breakdown and have no one to turn to. A shield to a wall, they all fall. No matter how weak; No matter how strong. It’ll find a way through. Dig a hole so deep that not even the best of friends can pull you out. Where you sit crying, eating ice cream all night, thinking of ways to end your life; Would you still be the man you are today? Keeping your shades on to everything you refuse to see. What are you gonna do when the past comes and finds you? Will you finally grow up, grow a pair, and try to repair all the wrong you did in this life? Will you start to see who all is there besides the ones in your dreams? If they left your life, Didn’t care what you’d think or say; Ignore your threatening goodbye. Would you open your eyes then? Or would your shades help you play pretend. Act like you don’t care and move on. Not think about the other crying for letting go of a lost cause. But! What are you gonna do, When the past comes and finds you?
