What Things To Me Were Gain
I’ve come free of the world’s stain
but what price in accepting You.
What things to me were gain
are things now gone from my view.
Through allegiance to my King
I bang the beat of a different drum.
This new life, the greater thing,
yet so misunderstood by some.
This life of the higher kind,
I see it lived more and more.
In the day to day I find
there’s so much more to live for.
But there’s something about this Way,
my life is a magnet for God.
Lives watch what I do and say;
some will live this life thought odd.
