What If

If God should speak to you and me Would we choose to hear and clearly see? Would there be in each the desire that we, Would dare inquire, “What saith He?” Is there a concern in any this day, To know what He has to say? Will any to Him attention pay? Or will each go his distorted way? Truth many will deliberately evade, As their own selfish plans are made. Attention, however, should be paid To foundational principles that He has laid. Written in His Book long ago, So that to all He could clearly show, Directions that any in this life can know And eternal misery and woe forego.
