What Happened
What do you want from me?
I try to not look sad as I go to bed
Giving you hope for tomorrow and calm for your rest
Knowing that the lonely trek is ahead, I press
As I reach the entryway my heart wrenches for you to come
Running behind me
We meet where our lives took shape and life began
Realizing that was a quick daydream I lose another piece of us.
