What a Dream

Waiting for my knight in shining armor to come calling for me. As I glance in the mirror on the wall, a flawless princess I see. He's late! He's late! For a very important date...oh where, oh where is he? No worries. He is throwing pebbles at my window now. Standing outside my window, he recites sweet poetry aloud; lip-gloss and perfume check; I yell, "I'll be right out" I open up the door to a bouquet of red, long-stem roses; oh so very pretty. He put his leather jacket on my shoulders; he said, "come, take a walk with me" What happened next is something I just could not believe! Well, our walk ended on the beach that day; our lives were just beginning On bended knee, he looked in my eyes and took my hand; my head started spinning! He said, "will you marry me?" and then he put on the ring. Standing on the beach, his leather jacket on my shoulders; tears masquerading as rain I said to the man I love, "of course, I will take your name." oh my, what a dream ....i hope that when I get big, real life is just the same.
