Welcome To War
The cries of spilled blood
Sadness corrupts the lines on their faces
Children of such hope destined for nothing ...
I pray and plead
But my understanding leads me nowhere.
So I curse and fight
Maybe ill force the darkness into light.
Do I stand between the walls of their freedom,
Or am I just another promise soon to be broken?
Playgrounds lay as fields of bullet shells
The night becomes day and sleep becomes luxury
Dead bodies cant see salvation in the sounds of church bells.
Wake up, wake up!!!
I hear a mother screaming.
But this is not a nightmare mommy,
Syria isn't dreaming.
