Weight

Weight is felt - is literal. Weight is the pull of gravity on dense matter, and it is felt. But what is this lump that is also felt in the heart, as if the organ itself has enlarged to pinch the airways shut? Why is it felt this way? Why does it seem to hold to the ground more stubbornly? How does it hurt - physically hurt, like the chest cavity has dropped its anchor? How does it pull in a downward way? Is it not weight? Has the heart not grown heavy, though it still weighs about a pound, and is roughly the size of a fist?
