Waves and Salt

In a poem ideas are not enough You need an image Even composing an item, abstract Like the shading you provide Upon the people scorching Or the breeze you produce While the air is so hot Or the goodwill you have in your heart; Compose a thing Create a situation or invent an event Said a man who is not an idiot Mere words are not enough Nor the rhymes, forced You need a metaphor to blend Life and ocean To create ripples But wave would be best to kiss the shore Or salt would the best to give your life a good taste
