In a dark mansion on the moor
Jane so nervous,locked her door,
The other moaned in the attic above-
Tensions within and without
In these relationships of love.

This has always been one of my favorite classics! I first read it as a teenager, and was haunted, yet facinated by this dark love story. Have read it again, and again All ended up in flames...but true love prevailed!...Nicely capsulated in your poem!...~Carrie
