Values Examined At Divorce

Mother of Pearl.
Sand slipped inside a shell.
Seagull's morning feast.

There once was a father who wanted time and space
There once was a woman who ran a race.
The children were grown.
Their pockets were blown.
So one retired and the other became an ace.

There's two sides to every story, personal answers within.
Judgment of each awaits God, or those who haven't ever sinned.

I think your set was the most "moral" of the entries, Sheri. I can see from this couplet that you are person who tries to see both sides. I like to be that way and I admire it in others. LUv, Andrea

Haven't experienced the disaster. I would say the "seagull" metaphor = lawyer. Generally the middle portion eludes me. The two sides to every story is SO true. You be deep. Love, Dave

That will be God's job for we all have sinned and come short of the glory haven't we..Good luck in the contest with this very creative work..I like the Haiku especially..The possibility of a pearl changed in one second of time..We never know about life..Sara

Hello, Sheri, oops just peeking. Did not know it was for my contest.. If you can only do me one little favor, add the word (divorce) anywhere on the title.. You have such a good entry.. always,..p.d.
