Valentine Attributes

Valentine Attributes

Crusading dictations
Gathering together
Professing devotions
Arousing emotions

Holiday flourishing
Underlined greediness
Commercial dictated
Composing emotions

Weariness withstanding
Tirelessly pretending
Valentine’s forgotten
Closeted emotions

Great poem Deb. It is not what it used to be. It is like nothing has the same meaning anymore. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla

You did a wonderful job with this one Debra .For me too, this used to be our special day ,anniversary day as well. You are right when you said it changed for you. I agree it does not seem important any more .Just a bit sad. Hugs Anne

You speak the truth. This time of year puts so much pressure and expectations on people. For so many it is a very sad day.

Use to embrace it...but when I lost my valentine...seems I lost my heart for this holiday, among others. Blessed be.
